My Study App ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

When you create an account and use My Study App, we collect:
- Account information — your name and email address, provided when you sign in with Apple or Google
- Study content — flashcard sets, questions, and answers you create or import
- Study activity — progress on individual cards (known / still learning), daily study streaks, and session counts
- Uploaded images — photos you attach to flashcards are stored on our server
- Published sets — if you choose to publish a set to the public library, its contents are visible to all users
How We Use Your Information
- To create and maintain your account
- To sync your study sets and progress across devices
- To display your study streaks and progress tracking
- To show sets you publish in the public library
- To operate and improve the app
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except:
- Sets you publish — content you voluntarily publish to the public library is visible to all users of the app
- As required by law — if required by a valid legal process or to protect the rights and safety of our users
Third-Party Sign-In
We offer sign-in through Apple and Google. When you use these services, their respective privacy policies also apply:
We only receive your name and email address from these providers. We do not receive access to your Apple or Google account beyond the information needed to create your account.
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secured servers. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
Data Retention
We retain your account and study data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
My Study App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent at any time (by deleting your account)

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in between visits. This cookie is essential for the app to function and does not track you across other websites.
